Currently there is no fire ban for recreational fire pits within the Town limits of Vegreville. Any property within the limits of the Town of Vegreville requires a
fire pit permit in order to have an open air recreational fire on any private lands. Fire pits at the municipal campground is still permitable at this time.
We encourage all residents of Vegreville partaking in open air fire pits to ensure due diligence in fire safety.
1.Ensure the fire is at a minimal level.
2.Ensure a water source is readily available.
3.Ensure fire iscompletely extinguished when finished (POUR, STIR, POUR AGAIN)
4.Fire permits are available at the Fire station or the Town Office for $25/permit and is good the
length of ownership of the home/until the fire pit is changed or altered from original status of application.
5. If conditions change a fire ban may be impose.
Please check the Town of Vegreville website for current information
