Campground Services

The Vegreville Municipal Campground is located on Highway 16A, at the east end of Town at the Elks/Kinsmen Park. Our camping season runs from mid-May through to mid-October (weather permitting).

The Elks/Kinsmen Park is a beautiful park area that is also home to the world's largest Pysanka (Easter Egg), a stocked trout pond with fishing for seniors and children and playground area. Our Visitor Information Centre is also on-site, where you can visit with our friendly staff and get information about Vegreville and its history and purchase local souvenirs and concession items.

Our campground amenities include 30 Amp power, caretaker, free firewood, site stoves, tap water, free shower and bathroom facilities.

Travel Alberta Accredited Visitor Information Centre on site.

Visitor Information Centre is OPEN from Thursday to Sunday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (closed for lunch) until October 20th.
