SADD Alberta Liquor Bag campaignPosted on: Dec 06, 2018
The SADD Alberta Liquor Bag campaign works with elementary, junior high and high schools to have students create a message on a paper liquor bag related to the dangers of impaired driving. Once students create their messages on the bags, they are then delivered to liquor stores during the Christmas period in the student’s community by our Town of Vegreville Community Peace Officers
This year, nearly 300 schools throughout the province created impaired driving messages on more than 63,000 liquor bags.
Vegreville and Mundare students created over 900 messages and CPO Ken Podoborozny and CPO Garret Perepeliuk delivered the Brown bags to Vegreville liquor stores and Mundare Liquor Store
